While listening to a sermon in August of 2017, Travis heard the pastor address the issue of Coriolis. That is if the earth is spinning east at whatever speed one would like to surmise, then leaving that reference frame and traveling in the opposite direction would have physical results; therefore, if one travels against the spin of the earth in an aircraft, one will reach one’s destination more rapidly. However, this doesn’t happen. Regardless of the contrived “scientific” explanation for how that can actually happen in a world with gravity

and all its constituent facets, that world, and those facets do not exist; they are constructs of the pseudo-scientific model fundamentally because that model can only exist as a mental construct and cannot be demonstrated through direct, empirical investigation.

Travis is a flat earther because his observation of the world is that of a stationary, level plane; and because the world in which a spinning, oblate spheroid in a vast expanse of other celestial bodies whirling and twirling in the great void, is only possible as a machination of the mind.

Travis holds a master’s degree in biblical studies and is currently driving for a company contracted by UPS.
